Hi, I would like to make a lateral "header", I would like that a lateral bar is present in each page with my logo and more important link. This bar should be as tall as all screen, and large 15% of screen, and should be fixed, it doesn't scroll with the rest of the page.
Pages should be like in this site http://www.essentialmix.it/

Is there a way to do it?

Thank you very much

Hi,

There is no such direct option in Themler. But you can try to add some section to the page, then set it to have fixed position, the screen height and 15% width and float to the left.

Sincerely,
Hella

I've tried this, and it could be ok, but there's no way to make the footer and the rest of the contents, to be in the rest 85% of the page... the best problem is for the footer...

Hi,

For example, you can add Columns control, then move Header inside left column, Content&Sidebars and Footer inside right column. And set desired width of columns. To make the Header fixed enable the Sticky extension. It will make the Section insider header fixed on scroll.
I've attached the example theme for joomla.

Please note that you will need to move Header and other control inside Columns on each template manually. These controls (Header, Footer, Sidebars) share their styling between templates, but not the wrapper container.

Please keep us posted about the progress.

Thank you,
Olivia
