how do you set page for menu item in html

hi

I am creating a html site and added a horizontal menu ... I cannot figure out how to set the page an item navigates to eg I want the menu item text to say BBC and the url to be http:;//www.bbc.co.uk

hopefully that makes sense

Hi,

Open the page Properties and there for each page inside menu you can set the custom URL.

If you check for context menu, you can find URL reset option.

I am REALLY confused...

Iin reply to milesweb... exactly where do I find context menu

Hella... a picture would be good... if the menu item is a custom link ... it does not exist as a page on your site so how can I get to a page property

on the other hand if the page does exist,if I load the page in the editor I cannot see anything in there to link it to a menu item

please explain

Hi,

You need to create a dummy page so it will create a menu item in the menu. Then open the properties of that page and set the desired URL, have a look to the screen shot:
