Hello, I, unwanted language plugin WPML https://wpml.org/ How releir the plugin with the language of themler selection?Hello
On WordPress sites when new language is selected using the Themler Language control the "lang" attribute in tag is updated with the selected language value
<html dir="ltr" lang="de-DE">
and "language" cookie is created
language="de_DE"
Unfortunately the Language control does not work with third-party WP localization plug-ins.
The rest of the theme should work with localization plug-ins as any other WP theme.
Thank you,
Olivia
OK thank you
It would be nice that in future we can link it to a plugin ;-)

Hello,
so after an year from latest response, Themler is compatible with any multi language plugin?
Hello,
Themler themes are working with WP multi language plugins.
In case you get a problem with one of them please describe the issue in details.

Aileen
Hi!
While almost desperately searching for a solution on Language control issue with WP multilanguage plugin, I am posting video about it here: http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbn3rF6bNx, hoping to get a support.
If Themler found this reply as duplicate, feel free to delete it after help resolve it on another answer.

<html dir="ltr" lang="de-DE">

language="de_DE"
This is behaviour by default. It's enough in most of cases.
Themler Language control does not add URL parameters as the other language switcher do in your video.
Thank you,
Olivia
Thank you very much for your answer!
So what is the function of Themler Language control if it is not able to switch website's language?
What behavior is it expected from cookie creation and URL with # sign?
You can see in my video that Themler Language control is effected when language is switched with other language switcher (wp plugin), but opossite - switching languages with Themler Language control is not working.

Hi,
Are you working with WP 4.7?
Usually, the page should be refreshed when you switch languages. It does not work on WP 4.7 on my side. I'll ask our developers about this issue.
Thank you,
Olivia
Yes, working with WordPress 4.7.2
"the page should be refreshed when you switch languages"...
To clarify: when a multilanguage plugin is set, and Themler Language control is used to switch language, than page should refresh ?
If an answer is yes, it is pretty obvious to expect that, but was not experienced so.
I hope to hear soon from your developers.
Thank you!
Regards,
dfg
PS: it does not look version dependent issue. Have just the same issue on WP 4.6.3 and Themler 1.0.556

Hello,
yes, the page should reload and language should change.
Lets wait developers response.

It sounds like you're dealing with a language plugin conflict. To resolve this with WPML, you’ll need to check the language settings in your theme and make sure they’re properly integrated with WPML’s language options. In WPML settings, you can assign the correct language per page or post, ensuring that the plugin doesn’t cause issues with your theme selection. Once configured, the plugin should work seamlessly with your language preferences. By the way, I’ve been exploring iCalculadoraOnline recently—it's like a hidden gem for quick calculations, from health metrics to financial tools, all in one place!
