Can't make changes

Hi,

I am trying to make changes to my clients website. I did not build this site. When I go to make a changes, it puts me into the themler editor. When I make changes and click submit, it tells me that a wordpress license is required - yet, the pricing page indicates there is a free version.

I'm just trying to make a change for the client - why can't I do that?

Hi,

To save the changes you need to have the appropriate subscription:
http://themler.com/Purchase

As indicated in the link above, the WP subscription is included in the Business and higher subscriptions. The free version includes HTML sites with the 10 pages restriction only.

Hi,

Follow up question here: Assuming at somepoint in time, someone made this site, so they had to have a theme. Since I'm now taking over managment of the site, and nobody knows where the old developer is, how can I get a login?

Hello,

The developer who created the website should have had a subscripiton - if he purchased it via the company he worked at, you may try to find it out at this company. Also, the site content and files can be edited manually after it is uploaded to Wordpress.

How does one update the site manually? Every time I click on things it takes me to your tool.

Hello,

The theme was created in Themler so the changes to design can also be performed in Themler. However some changes may be also possible to do in Wordpress Editor in theme files manually. This depends on what exactly you would like to achieve.
