Hi,

I need that a sticky affix / scrollspy stops when right sidebar end and start the footer position. Now when i turn on this boostrap option on Themler the sidebar doesn't stop and going over the footer.

May be with data-offset-bottom="XXpx" property? where? In Joomla div or custom CSS?

Please help,

Thanks

Hi,

There is no such option in Themler, you can search for the JS code over the internet that will give you such behavior.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hi Hella,

I can't understand why.

Themler is based on Bootstrap that yes let do it with data-offset-bottom tag, and you let in Themler use data-offset-top. Your developers can't add this like Fix Top option? I think it's not very difficult for your team, they have do it yet, but now with bottom offset.

Thanks

Hi,
It's now 2019 and the issue still exists...at least for me.
I'm working with Joomla and want a vmenu that will scroll along the side of the articles. I have that part working. But, as the others have mentioned, there is no method to stop the vmenu from scrolling down into the footer.
Why? Or am I missing something that's "hidden"?
Oddly, when I initially set up the vmenu, it does not scroll down to the footer. But after (?) some period of time, it scrolls down into the footer.

Also, if i remove the "Menu Class Suffix" ( vmenu), the menu works as intended - it scrolls along the side of the page and does "not" go down into the footer.
After some time (unknown what changes or how much time), it reverts back to scrolling into the footer.
I have the (space)vmenu removed now from the "...Suffix", and it's working fine - although the style of the menu changes to bullet points.

So it's still a problem. It "sometimes" works properly, then...it doesn't. But I've not been able to determine why.

Thanks.

It's 24 hours after I last edited the vmenu. I removed the (space)vmenu from the "...Suffix" yesterday and it worked great. I didn't touch it after that.

Today, I checked and...it falls down into the footer when the page is scrolled.
So "something" is going on with the coding in Themler. It would seem there is a conflict in the CSS. That's the only possibility I can imagine that would cause the menu to work then not work. It seems to me there is conflicting code so browsers read it correctly sometimes, then they do not.

Any thoughts?

By the way. I've even gone far enough to add a custom "block" with an invisible image that I published in the left column under the vmenu. It made no difference. The block and the menu all go down into the footer when scrolling down.
