Customizing of theme is not allowed?

Themler theme can be edited in the Themler editor only. To be able to save changes in the Themler editor your customer should have the Themler subscription.

I don't think this is right since I'm a web developer and my customer pay us to do there website they don't need to subscribe and what you are doing is forcing are customer to subscribe to your website

Actually for content management there is several CMS that Themler support. So you can use CMS for content editing by creating modules (Joomla) or widgets (wp) positions in Themler and put content inside it. Or create articles / posts inside CMS.

In this way you can use Themler just like a GUI for Bootstrap framework.

We pay for a subscription but not to have restriction.....If my customer need to change the footer phone number, address,email, logo, they should be able to do anything in there website..

To allow the customer to edit the listed elements you should use Widget Area controls with widgets instead of fixed text in Themler. The Logo can be changed under the Appearance >> Theme Options in case you're using logo control.

You are not answering my question ..My customer need to change the footer phone number, address,email, logo, they should be able to do this at anything in there website..there should not be restricted by you or by anyone.

Went they go to do any change they get this.. Because you are forcing are customer to subscribe to your website

Hi,

In order to not force the customer to purchase Themelr for editing static theme element you should use dynamic WP content instead. The widget areas with text widgets instead of the static text (footer phone number or any other text). Please understand the difference between static design elements and WP content. For any thing that you want to be changed through the WP admin panel please use WP tools (widgets and posts/pages). The Text control that you're using for phone number is the same design element as button color, for example. Simply use controls with dynamic content like widgets.

The "Customizing of theme is not allowed" message appears when the theme installed with Themler. Themler uses WP customizer functions to start. If the theme installed without Themler this feature will work. But in any case all website options which can be customized with WP Customizer can be edited using regular WP tools (menus, widgets, etc).

Use widgets (for WP) or modules (for Joomla) or hooks (for Prestashop) etc. More info just above in this topic.

As soon as I use themler to make a theme for wordpress I can use themler to edit the layout etc that is fine but I can not edit the wordpress widgets, and if I go to the menu in wordpress to edit the widgets it does not work. I have to activate a wordpress theme then i can edit widgets but once i go back to the themler theme the widgets are back to default
how do i edit widgets if Themler disables editing of the theme ? not a good design feature from themler

Please update to the latest Themler version so that it supports Wordpress 5.5. YOu may need to enable Beta updates in your profile for this.

I understand how important customization is for customers. I also like having control over design details, and sometimes I use promillekalkulator after gatherings to estimate alcohol level by entering gender, weight, and drinking time, just to stay mindful. I think allowing users to edit footer, content, and theme elements will make the platform more flexible and user-friendly.
