I'm in the same predicament. I'm an experienced Drupal developer and Artisteer user for many years. I have exported a Drupal theme from Windows Themler, installed the new theme and module in my D7 site but can't associate any of the design/layout/content I created in Themler with the actual site.
I can appreciate that my site content and theme are separate and that I must reproduce the content on the live site, no problem. However, the slider, my columns and layout, my images with rollover effects don't transfer over. Also not an issue if I have any indication as to how to wire this up on the Drupal end so that they are available as containers to populate.
I've been through all the docs and instructions on Themler and am comfortable using Themler for designing and creating a theme/template - I do like the tool. I have the Themler editor working fine inside of Drupal. I can install the outputted theme on my Drupal site. That about covers the info available. What's not provided and what I can't determine are those critical steps to make the end result website look exactly like the design in Themler and not the empty generic version I started from.
At least Artisteer had a module to import content and provide a starting point that matched the design from which you could build out the website. I have spent days digging into code, getting partial results by copying, editing and pasting code into Drupal, but this is more work than not having Themler - very frustrating, as are the short answers from tech support pointing me back to the info on how to install a theme in Drupal. I got that, that's not the issue, now I need it to look like what I see in Themler on my desktop!.
I'm hoping that I've missed something obvious or some "magic formula" step that clicks this all together. Basically I'm hoping I missed something stupidly obvious. If not, then what appears to be a very nice theming application is, for me at least as a Drupal developer, useless.
Any input or suggestion is very welcome. Please feel free to call me "stupid" if I missed something obvious (after you've pointed out what that is, of course).
