I am calling this a bug. Support says it's standard behavior but never in any of the other web platforms have I not been able to use the & or | symbol in Page Titles. It strips them out when you try to use one of these and probably others.

Now we have to vote an wait years to get this one fixed.

Google and any other search engine clearly state not to use stop works like and. I replace with & in menu titles to save space and use | to separate keywords in Page Titles.

Anyone else agree this should be allowed. It's no problem with Themler in Joomla, WordPress or Drupal. Why HTML sites then?
