I really need your help here to ensure that this is going to be a smooth transition so please take the time to answer each question and not just send me to your documentation which is lacking in the explanation which is why I am asking for help.
I staged the site on my servers to build the site and add the plugins I need to use in order to leave the current site live. My staged site is located at http://gittyupgo.com/rampartneil. Now that I have the site built I exported the content via Themler Tools and then I also exported the Wordpress Site via Wordpress Tools.
The live site is http://rampartpropertymgmt.com. Please verify the following steps if they are correct, please indicate so, if not, please indicate what I need to do in detail.
- I assume I would first install my theme that I had originally exported from Themler (although I used themler on the Wordpress site to make updates - when I saved changes, your pop-up came up that I needed a Wordpress license which I should not because I just purchased one for this! I did notice that some of my changes did not save and I assume it is because your pop-up says I need a license and I do not).
- Once the theme is installed which should also install Themler (as long as your pop-up does not force me to buy another license which I should not have to do - if it does, please fix this issue or tell me the workaround for it), the next step would be to import the content that I exported out through Themler - correct?
- After I have this all imported in through the Themler Tools import tool, I would then import into the Wordpress that I also exported through using the Wordpress Import Tool.
- Once I assure that everything imported as it should, then I can activate the theme and it should work as installed on the staged site once all the plugins I used are installed and activated - correct?
I hope it is as easy as that. Please answer me ASAP as I need to get this client's site live as soon as possible and sadly your documentation does not address this. May I recommend that you incorporate this into your documentation?
Thank you for your expedited help, it is appreciated.
