Themler on Mac doesn't export .zip files

I have bought a Themler licence for wordpress and I work on a Mac. The software simply do not export .zip files, except to the wordpress platform. Why ? I have my own version of wordpress in a private server. What can I do before I got tired and withdraw my subscription ?

Hello,

Do you mean that export works for Wordpress but does not work for example for Joomla? Please try updating to the latest Beta version. You may need to check the box next to "Get Beta updates" in your profile to receive the Beta update notification. After installing the Beta update you may uncheck the box at an time.
Please let us know if the issue is still present.

I have updated the software to the beta version but still I can't download the .zip file from my standalone software for mac (you simply can't choose any directory or guess where the .zip theme is stored).

Hello,

Please try the following
1. Make sure to enable cookies in Safari browser.
2. Please try to open Themler through a browser using this link
http://127.0.0.1:29958/themler_2980430729/startup/

Try different browsers like Safari, Firefox, Chrome and to export. Please let us know the result.

As a temporary solution, you may copy the theme manually from the folder with themes. Please click Go >> Go to Folder >> type ~/Library and ENTER >> Themler >> hd_data >> cms >> choose CMS and access the themes folder, copy the theme, zip it and install on your hosted website.

was this issue resolved for mac? i CAN download/export .zip themes but only after opening the browser version of the program which is not great really..

Hello David,

The issue sometimes happens after specific changes made with the OS, other third-party software installed, browser changes or other changes, and we cannot reproduce it. So if the export works correctly with the link This is an alternative way of running Themler - you may use it just to export the theme. Editing and saving theme should work correctly in the usual way.
