Cannot run themler, it has only black screen

Hi,

Please check what process is using this port under the Windows Task Manager >> Performance >> Resource Monitor. Maybe it could be possible to stop this process to free the port.

but the port is used by Themler, so I can't understand what is wrong.
Maybe the old Themler Version is corupt and blocking this? How can I uninstall it. It not works over the App-Feature in the system controlling.
I use Windows 10

The uninstalling of Themler from the Control Panel >> Programs and Features works just fine on my side.
Could you please try again. The process could be slow a little.
In the described situation reinstalling of Themler helps usually.
As alternative please try running Themler using the following link:
http://127.0.0.1:12080/themler_2154048764/startup

The Themler is not listet at the programs and features in nthe control panel and so i cannot uninstall.
However with your link it works so far ok. Thanks.

An other question. Can I use the pictures from BillionDigital for my customer projects? Do they have to by a license too or is it covered with my account/licence. If so, I do have to menchend them on the website that they are from billiondigital or billionphotos?

And what happend if my acount expired with the rights of the pictures in my clients pages?

One thing is not working, if i want to run Themler in HTML5. It crashes by updating start again and again...

to run themler from the desktop or install it on the server where the website is build?

What happen if there are updates or maintenance of the template and it functions? Does it go automatic, if Themler is installed on the server?

Themler desktop is a local webserver and CMS. There is no real difference. Themler works the same in Desktop application, own local or remote webserver.
When we release Themler update the option to update appears on the top bar in Themler. The update process can be started manually only. Usually it takes less than minute. In addition to this Themler creates a backup of the theme.

Thanks for the lines. I have to apologize because I do not know the English language. I have read the FAQ and have a question.

As a web designer with Themler I can create websites with pictures of BillionPhotos and sell them (the websites) to my commercial customers. Is that correct?

I only create websites for commercial customers. For me this is very important because of copyright law.

Hi,

You are allowed sell the themes with images to individual customers.
But you are not allowed to resell themes (on theme stocks or on your website).
You do not need to specify the author (billiondigital) of the paid photos. But you should specify the author of the free photos (where you see appropriate note).

thanks so far. But still alow me to ask how that permission goes with the text of the "Terms of Use" of BillionDigital.com? There is a part in it:

The Content may only be used and copied for your own, non-commercial, personal or educational purposes, provided that the Content are not modified and that copyright and other intellectual property notices are not deleted.

You may not create derivative works from or otherwise exploit the Content in any way.

You see why I am a little bit concernd of your statement. You told me I can sell my website (made with Themler) including photos of BillionPhotos to my individuell customer as a website. Of course I do not sell themes as it self for other people they use them to build a website. But if I understand the "Terms of use" I can use the content (also photos) only for a personel and NON-COMMERCIAL purpose. But making a website for customers is a commercial act!

So I am a little bit uncertain of the legal things.

Please help me to understand!

Hi,

As indicated on the Terms of use page, that article is related to themler.com and answers.themler.com. You can sell the theme to an individual customer with the images downloaded from billionphotos.com. All restrictions for the themes and photos are mostly related to reselling the template on some theme stocks.
