image doesn't open in as image, opens as same product in new window

In magento, after installing themler theme, clicking on images opens a new window with product details page instead of opening image. From other answers I found it possibly could be lightbox issues. How to I enable lighbox in themler? where are relevant controls?

Hi,

Do you mean that Product Image on the Products template opens product details page instead of lightbox with product image?
This is behavior by default.

yes - that's what I meant. Doesn't sound the best solution. How do it change it so images opens in lightbox or new window?

Hi,

You can try using CMS Code control instead of the product image. In this control you can add the code which outputs the product image and use any wrapper for lightbox or image. But it requires some skills.
