Very very slow

We've checked your logs in our system. For some reason navigation between controls is quite slow.
Unfortunately we have failed to reproduce this issue on our side.

Could you please create a new private topic and provide us with the following information:

• your Chrome version
• what extensions you have installed in Chrome. If possible please try disabling them. Does the issue continue?
• do you have some antivirus software or browser extensions which may block or slow executing javascript on web pages? Something like AddBlock.

• provide logs:

  • run Themler Desktop
  • press F12 to open Chrome Development tool
  • switch to Console tab
  • execute AppSettings.enableLog = true command:
    
    
  • switch between controls in Themler
  • you should see the long logs in the Console tab. Please copy all this log text to the .txt file and attach it to the topic.
  • or we can try accessing your computer with TeamViewer. For this please provide us with login/password.
• run Windows Task Manager and provide a screenshot of the Performance tab.

BTW, do you use FireBug extension?
It may cause such performance problems.

I see now I wont be using this much if it stays like this. Web based Themler has more benefits.

It's an "option" to download the desktop version. Many companies who's programs are browser based offer a desktop version.

And yes the web based Themler is smooth flowing. But, keep in mind, the desktop version is still "Beta" ;)

In my opinion (and I'm new) I see wonderful things happening with this company. ;)

Thought this would be a great idea, mainly because I have slow and unreliable internet. I downloaded and installed, but just get an error "This webpage is not available - ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED"

You still need to be connected to the Internet in order to use it.

I have setup a theme in themler, exported zip, set it up on a joomla site.
When I try and edit it, I get this message: (how do i overcome this please?)
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@olnztest.olnz.co.nz and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hello,

We've uploaded the new version of Themler Desktop Beta. It can be obtained here.

This version fixes issues with Windows XP including the issues with non-latin characters in Windows login name.

If you encountered any issues with previous version please uninstall Themler desktop and remove CMS content:

Note: This option will remove all Themler CMSs with their content and themes. If you want to keep your themes please download them and backup somewhere.

Please let us know about any and all issues that you may encounter.

Please let us know on what exact step of the installation you receive the crash message?
1. Exactly after the start up.
2. In the installation process.

In case it happens right after the installation begins, then try to download the installation file once again and install it. The problem may be in the file corrupted during the download.
In other case, we need to know on what exact step of the installation it was aborted. What was shown in the installation window before the crash? Please attach the log files from the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Themler\bin\_logs\

You can reply to this case or create a new private topic. In case of creating the new topic, please mention that the issue is related to this one.

It is not damn Facebook and you dont "like" here. There are mass of other topics and featured not implemented yet waiting for your vote.

Hello, new user with a free sidegrade from Artisteer here, I've been trying to use the desktop app but everytime I select wordpress from the start screen I get the following error:

"Not Found

The requested URL /themler_173478769/wordpress/wp-login.php was not found on this server."

I can select Woocommerce ok but I don't have the license to save any work from there.

Windows 8 and most likely Windows 10 users will have a problem with this due to how it's setup.

Windows 8 has a small amount of space allowed to the operating system drive, (C:) which gets smaller in space as the days go by due to Microsoft Updates.

Themler installs automatically to C: which is going to be a BIG ISSUE when it comes to performance.

Allow for the software to be installed on another drive please.

Also, this doesn't seem to be a Windows application at all. It seems to be working on the browser.

i have installed themler on a laptop with windows 7 32 b. it works and must tested it know.
but on my computer wich is a lot faster i't won;t install. this is also a windows 7 32 b.

on the laptop the install gives me a popup to install google chrome.
on the computer i have already google chrome, ie and Firefox installed.
there is no popup only the load screen from themler to 100% that's it

does anyone know how to install it?

i wanted to update themler.
but when i click update the website gives me a error: you must have a license to joomla.
i have a artisteer code but it that what it wanted to have?

You need to insert the license key in the Themler purchase page:

Here you will find the Themler versions that you can get for free or with the discount. After that press Get on the desired variant and then you will be able to log into Themler and receive updates.

Is this version (http://downloads.themler.com/Themler.1.0.50.28323-no-chrome.exe) non-browser based? The browser based version is very slow. It's pointless to have a DESKTOP application that is BROWSER based... Why not just have it being able to PREVIEW in the browser like Artisteer did?
