I have installed fly wheel to run a local version of wordpress on my mac. I did an zip export of Credens theme to my local drive and imported it into my wordpress installation. Also exported themler with it. When I go to the admin of the wp installation and look at the pages -> all , I only see the Sample page, which is the second page of the theme. The Home page is not visible from the Pages menu in the admin panel. Is that the way it is supposed to be? Do I have to run Themler to edit the Home page, i.e. just add text content?

Thanks

Hi,

You mean that there were more pages before you exported the theme? Have you included the content when exporting and then installed it in the site? https://answers.themler.com/articles/72522/import-export-content

Sincerely,
Hella

Yes I included the content and themler. If I preview the site in browser the first page of the theme is visible, however if I go to the admin and select pages->all and look at the list the only page listed is the Sample Page, not the home page. I can edit the home page, but only if I run the themler plugin.
On the sample page I can edit from within wordpress that is add text to the page. I would like to be able to change text on the home page from within wordpress without having to run themler.

Hi,

Themler Home template is assigned to the WP Home page. The Home page in WP can be configured under the WP Settings >> Reading: Latest Posts or Static Page. If Home page is static page its content can be edited through the page under the WP pages. If Home page displays Latest Posts you can edit the content of WP Posts.
Themler does not create WP content. It displays existing WP content. In addition to This Themler can edit the content of the existing WP single posts and pages.
Everything you added in Themler outside green content area is a part of the theme design which can de edited in Themler only.
Please note that Themler templates are not ready pages. These a design parts used for existing WP Posts, Pages, Home/Blog pages, etc.

Looks like your WP website has Home page wich displays WP Latest Posts (if you have them).

Thank you,
Olivia
