I need to add a joomla posistion in contact page type. How to?Hi,
You mean to have the module appear only on the page with the contact form? Open that page in Themler to see what template it is using. It might be the default template and add the desired module position in that page. Then also assign the module to that exact menu item within the Joomla admin panel so it won't appear on the other pages using that template.
Sincerely,
Hella

How do I do that?

Run Themler, then right click on the menu item or any link that could lead to that page and select the Open Link option in the menu.
Sincerely,
Hella
Theres no menu item. I create only template on Themler, not the content.

Hi,
So how you would style the contact page if there is no one in the site? You can create the contact page in the application (open the Joomla admin panel and add the same contact page as on your live site) and then use the suggestions above. Or run the editor on the live site with the live content.
And as well, try to style the Default template, probably that one will be used for the contact page type on the site.
Sincerely,
Hella
In my site i have, on JOOMLA, the contente is created on JOOMLA, not on the THEMLER.
The default page is disabled.

You can create the similar contact page inside the Joomla admin panel in the Themler desktop application. If it is not the desired option, OK, add the module position within the Default template. The contact menu item type will be using default template.

Hella
HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE "default template"?
If I do this, will styling continue to work for HOME, PAGE, BLOG separately?
HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE "default template"? If I do this, will styling continue to work for HOME, PAGE, BLOG separately? That depends on what part of the template you will edit. The orange areas like Header, Footer and Sidebars are shared and if edited on the Default template will be also changed on other templates. The blue template area will be edited only on the default template. Note, that if you edit the Posts control on the Default template and want it to be edited separately from the other templates, press the Customize template styles button on the top ribbon with the Posts control options.

Hella
Noting all of the above, I'm attempting to add a google map to the contact page.
I can get it placed below the content, or in a left or right sidebar. But even if I create a new Joomla Position (blue template area) above the CMS content area, the map will not insert, nor can I move it into that position.
Ultimately, I would like to place the map either "behind" the contact form (fixed) or to the left of the form (as in 2 columns) - but not in the sidebar left or right.
Perfection would be to have it in a fixed position behind the contact information instead of the form.
So the map is either below the form, in the sidebar or an overlay on top of the form.
If you successfully resolve this locally, let me know how you did that.
Thanks.
Thomas
Hi,
Please attach your theme exported with the content and editor included and also attach the screen shot of how it should look like.
Sincerely,
Hella
Hi Hella,
Would you please provide the "final" step(s) to the above?
I was never advised that you responded and I'd like to know the final step.
I have a Joomla position assigned only to the contact page, but it's not possible to insert the map into the J position. I can put it above or below, or even inside the Breadcrumbs position, but not in the Joomla position I created for the map.
The template to which I was attempting this previously is different, and irrelevant at this point.
The map should appear above Breadcrumbs and "only" on the contact page.
I can get it "in" the Breadcrumbs container, but then it appears on all pages.
The problem, ultimately, is putting the map "only" on 1 page. I can get it on all, or none.
Thanks.
Thomas

Hi,
The Joomla position control create a module position for joomla modules. You cannot add other controls inside joomla position in Themler. But you can add a module into this position in Joomla and configure its visibility on Joomla pages using module Menu assignment settings. In order to create a map you need a third-party joomla module which creates maps or Custom HTML module where you can insert the map's html code.
Thank you,
Olivia
