The edit template is inactive in joomla

Hi, I have a joomla 3 site and I'm trying to edit a templete from the backend but the "edit Template" button ist'n active or working.
I've exported the theme several times but It doesn't work. Every time I get the same issue, even tough I checked the "Include themler to costumize this theme"
What should I do to fix this?
