Hi Support team,

I'm using 1 laptop where Themler is installed.
I'm creating HTML Pages with themler.

When I create HTML websites when I'm at home, the themes are saved in C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_223654093\html\themes

But when I'm at my mom's place & I want to continue working with the themes I created --> it's not possible because Themler created a new folder C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_1708213820\html\themes

Off course, this new folder has no themes, so I cannot open any theme I created at home.

Is there a way to tell themler always to use the same folder, no matter where my laptop is located?
Because this behaviour make themler unusable for me.

Can you help me?
Many thanks!

Kind Regards,
Johan

Hello Johan,

When you work with Themler desktop, the themes are saved locally, so it is not possible to access them from another computer unless you export or copy them from the mentioned folder and then import, Alternatively, you may install Themler on a hosting server - and in this case you will be able to access it from any place.

Nettie,

Hi Nettie,

Thanks for your answer.
I'm using the same laptop. Most of the time, my laptop is connected to my homenetwork (when i'm at home).
Then themler saves my themes to the folder C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_223654093\html\themes

But when I take the same laptop to somewhere else, and I connect to that network (for example the WIFI at my mom's place) --> when I start themler, it creates another folder to store my themes --> C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_1708213820\html\themes

The folder that thelmer creates (whem the same laptop is connected to another network) is an empty folder & when I start Themler, it always look to that folder (with no themes because all my themes are stored in the other folder).

I know I can export and import each theme, but it's strange (and stupid) to remember that I have to export and import the theme, is I want to continue working on the same computer, but in a different place.

Is there a way to tell (or configure) themler to look to the correct folder?
Thanks!

Kind Regards,

Hello,

The name of the folder like themler_223654093 and themler_1708213820 depends on the User Name used to log in to Windows. This is made by purpose so that several users can work at the same computer and not interfere with each other's work.
As a possible solution, please try creating a User with the same name on another computer. Another way would be to manually transfer the folder with your theme between the mentioned folders.
