Installing new version or uninstalling & reinstalling will delete the saved projects from system

If you check the option "Remove CMS content" whilte installation, all the created themes will be removed, and if you leave it unchecked, they should stay at place. However in any case I recommend you to create a backup copy of your themes. You can export them one-by-one. Or copy from the folder with themes like C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_xxxxxxxxx\wordpress

Then in a new installation you can import zipped themes or put them into a new folder with themes.

As for the issue reflected in your log. Please try temporarily disabling antivirus and firewall ad run Themler anew, as it looks like something is blocking access to the server.

I have taken backup the themes to safer side... (C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data) all fines to a safer location.

Regarding Antivirus & Firewall, i tried disabling firewall and uninstalled Antivirus (BitDefender) no success.

Hello,

Please follow the steps below:
1. Backup all theme folders somewhere on your computer.
2. Uninstall Themler completely and also check the box for "Remove all CMS content".
3. Check if the following folders are still present:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Themler
C:\ProgramData\Themler

4. If they exist, remove them.
5. Reboot the machine after uninstalling Themler, so that all Themler services are removed for sure.
6. Temporarily disable antivirus and firewall.
7. Download latest version of Themler for Windows from themler.com, install it and try to start with Themler for any CMS and create a theme.
Please let us know the result.

But, still same issue...

Need more help regarding the same, shall I go with reinstalling newly downloaded version... But, is that guaranteed from your end that my website data remains intact without losing my saved projects from my system.

I have only HTML Projects, is that Root folder Themler\hd_data we can back up and restore all in the newly installed path? Is that works or need to paste only HTML Folder.

Hello Suffian,

The error "Unable to connect to the remote server" usually means that some antivirus, firewall, proxy, VPN or other third-party application prevents Themler from connecting to the servers. However the issue can also be in the application itself. That is why it is recommended to reinstall it like suggested above.

As for backing up themes. HTML themes should be located at this path: C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_2093113814\html
Copy all the themes to any safe location outside Themler folder - in this case it will be intact while Themler is uninstalled.

After you have Themler reinstalled and it runs normally, themes can be copied back to the \html folder at the similar path as above. If they are still not visible in the Theme Management screen, I would recommend to zip each theme and import it using Import from ZIP option and save.

Please let us know the results.

I have reinstalled the Themler after copying all my saved installed files in a safe location... And, it automatically working now.

We need some proper solutions for the same, Themler error screen should highlight the actual error and possible alternatives or solutions to trouble shoot the issue instead of just showcasing the log files each & every time... So that we can understand it in a better way and do the same as highlighted by you regarding the reinstallation.

1) And, is there any way to export all saved projects/html/websites to the server in our account in Themler website as our private profile so that we can import it from the server directly instead of worrying our local files deleted accidentally at the time of reinstalling Themler.

2) Is there any new features for HTML Websites, we are getting more fixes and enhancements for WordPress, PrestaShop etc but very fewer enhancements for HTML Projects. Why ?

3) One of your team working on new project, could you let us know what is that new project your team is working as of now, can we get some highlights or what is that actually... Becuase, we are not getting more frequent releases or new version in Themler software and came to know that you ppl are working on some new project. We need to know what is that one?

4) And, we need more animations (we have just left, right, top & bottom) for the slider, buttons, controls etc... And, more for menu horizontal & vertical too.

5) Can we get more controls for Themler Software Example - Accordion, Responsive Tables, Tabs Controls, Load Icons in the main page, Pointer Animation, Header Section sinking after scrolling to bottom animation (making icons/log small in size while scrolling mouse) etc

6) Can we get control or function for multiple languages for HTML Projects/Website.. ? For CMS/WordPress multiple language control is there by default but same is missing for HTML Website. We need some default controls for it (backend Google Language Control can be used from your end)?

Thanks for letting us know. The fact is that log file alone does not always has all the necessary information, also steps to reproduce the issue can matter, and it can differ from case to case what causes them. So you are welcome to contact us if there are any issues. For the future, there are some general recommendations for several common issues in this section of our documentation to refer to first:

1. There is no such option. However you may install themes on your localhost or live host and they will not depend on Themler desktop:

2. It's true, in the last time no major features were added to Themler for HTML - in general, it is not as complicated as CMS and eCommerce solutions - for example, no support for new CMS versions is required in case of HTML pages, no compatibility issues with eCommerce plugins, CMS code, etc. So in case of HTML themes we are more concentrated on stability and smooth work.

3. We are going to further develop and update Themler. Relating the new product developed by our team, it is more similar to Artisteer, that allows to create design for pages and posts easily and quickly, really in minutes. It is not officially released yet, but is expected to appear soon.

4, 5 and 6. We have added your suggestions to our Wish list for future consideration. I'm not sure what you mean by "Header Section sinking after scrolling to bottom animation" - looks like this option is already available, this article can be helpful:
