Hi Nettie,
The 403 error page is for when a user attempts to access a page that they are not allowed to view (due to their user type) - not a 404 error where the page does not exist.
There is currently no way (that I can find) to assign the 403 page the same template as the rest of the site.
The template should automatically be assigned to "every" page unless otherwise set to use something different. It's not a cache issue or "other plugin" issue. It's that the template is not made available to the error pages.
I'm dealing with how to get a 403 - Forbidden page to use the same template as the rest of the site, but with text changes to let the user know why the page is not working.
Thus far, the only answer is to set the menu item to the "group" that IS allowed to view that page. Then the menu item won't be available. But, that should not be the "work-around".
What's your advice?
Thanks
