When I delete a horz menu from a template, then re-insert a new one, i get a placeholder that says empty. I can never actually see the menu in themler, but it is there when loaded into the cms. How do I make it appear in themler so it can be styled

Hello,

In general, it is necessary to create a menu in CMS backend, so that it appears in Themler.
Please follow corresponding instructions in order to create Horizontal Menu for Wordpress and Joomla.
Let us know if any questions appear in process.

I'm not WP or Joomla... Drupal is the one... But... I mean when I load the drupal default template, it has a visible horz menu in themler out-of-the-box... But if I delete this menu, and add a new one, it goes in, but is not visible in themler for styling purposes.Even after I refresh the cms and everything.

it is visible in drupal.. But if I want to style it in themler, it is just a guessing game because it does not show in themler, just the placeholder for it

Hello,

When you add a new menu control, the menu in Drupal should be assigned to the proper region created by the control. Please follow this article on creating Horizontal Menu in Drupal:

yes I know that part. It just does not show up in themler even after doing that.. Just an empty region placeholder in themler.

Hi,

Please perform these additional steps:

  1. After adding a new Horizontal Menu control and applying changes to CMS please go to Drupal Administration >> Configuration >> Development >> Performance and clear caches so that the new region is visible.

  2. In Drupal Administration >> Structure >> Blocks add menu to the newly added region (for example, Horizontal Menu 2). Please note that the menu is added to the basic theme. To be able to customize its appearance in Themler, you may need also to add it to the preview theme.
    For this please click "configure" next to the region and configure it like this:
