Relative URL for Photos

I I have an image component in the template that I want to allow the user to be able to change without editing the template. I add the photo via URL and point the URL to a sub-folder under "images". But, so far the only way to do this is to use the full URL path. I'd like to be able to do something like ...

../images/photos/myphoto.jpg

This allows me to "Sell" the template without the need of customizing each one for the client.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

Unfortunately the Image control does not support relative paths with "From Web..." source.
As alternative you can try inserting images directly in WP. But in this case they will not be converted to Themler image controls.

Thank you,
Olivia

Thank you for the useful information. I work with photos and it is very convenient to use the URL path. And recently I read about procreate alternative and started using this program. I easily create sketches, images, illustrations and even comics. The program made it easier for me to work with presentations.

If you are using a CMS (like WordPress, Joomla, etc.), the system might require full URLs or a specific way to handle images.
