HTTP ERROR 500 appears in my website

one week ago I had made my website online and everything was working good, today I found that the website is not working with this message (HTTP ERROR 500), I've check error_log and there a list of error like the next one :

-PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<', expecting end of file in /tmp/theme_temp_setupmsq2f7 on line 2

this is the last error of the list, would please help me to solve this problem the website is down now.

Hello,

Please try temporarily disabling third-party plugins and component and clear caches. What CMS does the issue happen with?

Hello, thanks for the follow up.

This is in Wordpress.

We have tried disabling the plugins.

This is strictly theme related.

Because we tried the twentysixteen theme and then the site goes online again..!!

Hi again, seems like the site has been comprimized with some injected codes.

I was able to resolve the issue here:

Now the problem is Themler gives 500 Internal Server Error

Keep in mind the website is working fine.

Hello,

Please make sure that the user and group running on the web server are granted the appropriate read, write and execute (linux only) permissions on the following folders, as well as read and write permission on the files in these folders:

\wp-content\uploads
\wp-content\themes
\wp-content\plugins
