But I have a problem with the spacing.

Please attach the theme with the original section and also the theme where this section does not look correct. The themes should be exported with the content and editor included.

In the right one the layout is right, but I cannot save this layout for future use, because it is not in a section.
In the wrong one I can save the layout for future use, but the layout is wrong.

Hi,
I do not see the issue with the width in your theme. The problem with the search filed is there. It happens because the Section control has its own styles for the input field. To remove it go to the Section >> More Styles >> Input >> Style and set it to No style.
