Where is Themeler for Wordpress saving my zip export

I've created a template in Themler, and am trying to export the .zip file as I always do (i've done hundreds of these over the past few years). This time, it is not asking me for a location to save the file to, and I can not locate the file on any of my hard drives.

Has the export process changed? If so, how do i find the .zip file that is created?

I have an iMac 21.5 inch Mid 2011 running macOS Sierra 10.12.6 (just upgraded to this from 10.11.x Need help ASAP...

Thanks...

Hi,

Themler desktop uses Safari. Therefore if export was successful the file should be located in the default browser downloads folder.

Thank you,
Olivia

Ok... Just to clarify. I'm talking about when I'm using the desktop app and trying to export the .zip file of the template for upload to wordpress. Every time before this last export, it has asked me where I would like to save the .zip file (the one I use when uploading into wordpress). Now it just cycles through and the file goes nowhere, so I assume the export was NOT successful. I have gone back through all of my previous template files and tried to export them now and get the same result.

I checked my download folder, as you suggested, and the file is not there. I have also run file searches on all of the drives on my system and the file does not exist. Something has changed just in the last month, and I would really appreciate some help making this work. I just paid for then next year's upgrades... and I need this product to work for me on my desktop.

I understand that I can install the blank template into wordpress and build it from there, but it is a slower workflow for me. All help is appreciated.

Hello,

Please make sure to backup all the created themes from the folder on your computer, the path is shown in the Theme Management screen after selecting some CMS. Or click Go >> Go to Folder >> type ~/Library and ENTER >> Themler >> hd_data >> cms >> choose CMS and access the themes folder. Please try completely uninstalling Themler and also remove Themler folder from the Mac library. Then temporarily disable antivirus and firewall, download and install Themler for Mac anew.
As a temporary solution, you may copy the theme manually from the mentioned folder with themes, zip the theme and install on your hosted website.

Sincerely,
Nettie,

I did exactly as you suggested. backed up my data, completely uninstalled Themler and the folder in Library. Downloaded a new version from your site, double checked that no firewall or andivirus was open or working. I then re-installed the program, opened it, tried to export a .zip file of the basic theme that opens, and again... it just cycles through without actually creating the .zip file.

While I understand I can do the walk around you describes, it's highly inconvenient. I would like for your program to work as it always has for me in the past, and has just recently stopped doing.

Please help!

Ok... I see where it "downloaded" the .zip file. But this isn't how my app has EVER worked in the past, why is it like this now, and why hasn't anyone said anything about this?

So, now... every time I want to edit I have to go in through safari using that link you sent, and work my theme there, save it and export it through safari rather than just opening my app and doing it that way? Why have an app??? Seriously....

Hello,

The issue sometimes happens after specific changes made with the OS, other third-party software installed, browser changes or other changes, and we cannot reproduce it. So the export works correctly with the link, right? This is an alternative way of running Themler. You may use it just to export the theme. Editing and saving theme should work correctly in the usual way.

I'm trying to open the link you sent and it says the page can't open because the server where the page is located isn't responding.

Hello,

Please try to run Themler first and then put the URL into the browser. If the issue persists, please try to open some theme in Themler and lick on Live Preview in the top left corner. A page will open in a browser. In the browser address bar you will see a similar path, then just correct it to end with themler_3462723433/startup/and try to run it.
