In Artisteer i could put an Icon (image) left next to the Header text and use Padding to put it where i want it.
But in Themler i can't find any Padding option there is only a Position option. Did i overlook something?

Image, Logo and Icon controls have padding option right above the Positioning.
You can use either Margin or Padding options. Padding create inner spacing, Margin creates outer spacing.

You add the icon as the block Header >> Background, position it to the left. Then in the Header >> Text options set the Left option for text to some value, that will move the text to the right.

Well this would only work if i add an extra container for the block Header or it would interfere with the block Header Gradient. Artisteer had an option to add an icon to the Header(s) but it looks like Themler doesn't have any option like this.

In case when you want to use the gradient and also an icon, there is no such option. The only one I can suggest is that you can edit your icon in some graphic editor to add some transparent space on the left side so it will look like the margin.
