Hello Everyone.

I will like to know if it is even remotely possible to a create mobile header like the BBC style in Themler.

Hi,

You can try to arrange it in Themler. The top bar may include 3 columns. One with the logo, the second one with the top menu and the last one with the search bar.
Then add the red section also with the columns. One with the logo and the second one with the menu control.

I will try this shortly and revert. But is it also possible to show just the search Icon and let it expand when it it clicked?

There is no such module in Themler. You can try some search plug-in for your CMS to implement such search box.
