Tested converting 3 themes to WP Themler themes. Can say I am impressed. It miss sometimes (header, footer) old widgets positions, but very easy to add them again in Themler and drag widgets inside in backend.

Sometimes twist widget positions. Just few seconds of work to drag and drop them again on its real places.

As for the Joomla part of this. I have questions and wonder if a new thread should be started or can you answer them here?

1. What about custom css for module class suffixes? Does the Themler allow you to use your own css prefix like Artisteer does. I changed mine from art- to my own.

2. What about header positions? Do we need to recreate these in our Themler version of our Artisteer project.

thank you for the feedback. Widgets positions are sometimes twisted due to Artisteer page layout.
If you get any other problem with exported theme please let us know.

Hello Dave,
1. the "bd-" CSS class prefix cannot be changed in Themler like in Artisteer;

1. in general the header positions added in Artisteer should be converted to Widget Areas in Themler. The Areas should be located on the same places. But sometimes they may be moved to a bit different location. If you have got a problem with Widget Areas in Header please create a new topic where describe the issue and attach the Themler theme.

I never had so much problems as after latest updates. Actually it started with this new Appcahce function. I suspect it makes problems.

• When typing px for margin/paddings after one value script close popup and get me back to "Post" tab. (Despite I clicked again on popup to keep it visible)

• So for each value (8 x) I have to click 3 x. 8 x 3 = 24 clicks just to set padding and margin. 24 click x countless times when this is needed = cannot even count how many unnecessary clicks.

• I do understand options are more and more, but this is another problem.

• If I go to "More options" to set margin/padding there for once, seems as Appcache is confused and give me options of thing I latest edited. So if I edited Comments control, and go to Date control-More option, padding and margin still edit Comments block. (Despite at the top of window is the name of new block I try to edit)

• Same with SVG icons. They wont show before I first click "Hover" and go back to Icon and set it.

• When I set one icon Appcache remember this and wont allow me to set SVG icons for other things. Actually other things show same icon as Comments control.

• And many, many more problems.

Give us a HUGE button on top menu to delete all Appcache.

I failed to reproduce this issue. Could you please create a new theme and try to repeat it. Is it reproducible?

You wont be able to reproduce all so easy. It happens after few hours of intense clicking and editing.
That is why I suspect Appcache directly. Simply it is not possible that one perfectly working software / script suddenly makes so much strange effects. It has to be cache. Will test with deleting cache in Developer tools.

Problem is I dont know how HTML5 cache works. Have to read a bit about it. If it is this cache type, I dont know for sure.

Are there any instructions on how to export html from artisteer and import to themler? I do not seem to be having luck.

Am I exporting as a zip file, just into a folder? Obviously it's got to be exported into this mysterious file location that is hidden on my computer since you can't search.

Any help is appreciated.

So I exported the html artisteer project to a folder in the themes folder shown in the themeler interface. Not showing for a choice to open this in themeler. Closed and reopened themler still nothing but the default theme as a choice.

No way to search for anything??

Hi Dave,

Themler does not option to import the Artisteer HTML files now. For now we have an option to export WP and Joomla files from Artisteer to Themler format.
