It's indeed low performance on your end. It is usually caused by the anti virus applications. They are blocking the application from accessing some parts and that slows down the performance. So please once again disable all anti virus applications. Also please list what anti virus applications are installed on your computer.
Then let us know if any other heavy applications are running on your computer and if they are also slowed down.

Also please run Task Manager while Themler is running, switch to the Performance tab and attach a screen shot of that screen.

Thank you for your response, I do not have any anti virus software running as far as I can see just windows defender.

I have attached, task manager processes and performance, please bear in mind Team viewer is not normally running, I use this to connect to my PC when I am at work, so please discount this from your assessment.

I am thinking of increasing the memory to 8GB, depending on what your findings are, its either that or pay for another editor.

Our developers have looked into the screen shots and there is nothing strange there. Probably your computer is indeed a little bit old and some upgrade will be helpful.
In case that does not help, we can connect to you with TeamViewer and see if we could find any issues.

It is probably memory or your HDD. Let us know if your hard drive is old or is not fast enough.
