Slow changes edit for Wordpress in Desktop

Hello Guys,

I have been using Themler for almost a year, but I am very dissatisfied with the fact that many of the edits I make to the temple ─ even just with just two (2) sections for a WordPress Homepage, takes more than one minute or two.

The fact that just change position or color in a object takes more than a minute is driven me crazy and at the end the overall time to create a template as I am looking for takes several hours.

Please, can you let me know if you have a troubleshooting flow to detect what settings in my system should I modify to improve the editing in Themler?

Hi,

I see some logs from your account with the slow performance. That may be caused by the anti virus applications and firewall. Also if some other heavy processes are run along with Themler. Maybe your computer characteristics are not fast enough or your hard drive is a bit slow.
Try to disable anti virus application first to see if that helps.

Dear Hella,

I see a little difference in performance, I have a 8 core PC with 16 GB RAM, so I think is important to set exclusions in my antivirus. Can you let me know the path of files in order to set in my antivirus in order to improve performance?

I Have the same problem, if you look at your task master the performance section Themler uses 5 google chromes and a heck of a lot of memory . . . I understand your frustration

I hope they post a slution soon.

With the information provided I hope they mention which paths should be excluded in Antivirus to improve performance a little.

As fas I have seen, beside the Chrome instances, there's also a local Apache Server running, and I doubt set exclusions for the whole Themler package will be an easy task.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.
Unfortunately it is difficult to provide one specific path which will help to solve all problems.
Themler webserber public directory with CMS and themes is here: c:\ProgramData\Themler\
Themler webserver is here: c:\Program Files (x86)\Themler\
Themler webserver uses the following processes: hthemlerd.exe and mythemlerd.exe.
Please note that Themler requires internet connection.

In some cases the issue ma happen if the theme includes a lot of images, templates and control. Too big themes may be slow.

I think that will help to lessen the lag in my system. I will add to my exclusions list and check how much the performance improves.
