Hi,

Today is September 30, 2018 and the problem still exists.

I just attempted to log in this morning and was met with the blank login screen. It's "imperative" that I'm able to use Themler. I logged in within Themler.ico, but that's not helping.

I initially attempted to log in through Chrome, which I've been using throughout the design process. When I was met with the blank login screen I logged out of Joomla using Chrome, opened Firefox and tried to open a template but was met with the blank login screen also.

I would appreciate a speedy reply. I'm working from inside my job where I use Themler for the company's new design. This will not go over well.

I tried another site and after clicking on the "Edit Template" to run Themler, I was met with the following in the login screen:

Warning: require_once(/my/site/public_html/administrator/includes/toolbar.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /my/site/public_html/templates/mysite/app/index.php on line 25

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/my/site/public_html/administrator/includes/toolbar.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /my/site/public_html/templates/mysite/app/index.php on line 25

Obviously, "mysite" and /my/site/ are changed to protect my site.

Both sites had this after updating to the latest Joomla version.

I logged in to a third site "BEFORE" updating Joomla.
I was able to access that template.

Apparently, the latest Joomla update to 3.9.0 is stopping Themler from accessing the server.

THIS IS CRITICAL!

Themler has not updated the software to work within the newest changes in Joomla.
PLEASE address this quickly!

Thank you.

tmgarrison,

Could you please create a new private topic and provide temporary access to your website with Joomla 3.9 for investigation?

Sincerely,
Nettie

You can fix the issue for now by copying a toolbar.php file from a Joomla 3.8.13 installation into the ./administrator/includes/ folder.
After doing this you should be able to edit you themler template again.
For your convenience: I have attached the file I have used.

Hi,

We're preparing the update with the fix for this issue. It will be available ASAP.
In addition to this, we'll provide an instruction on what php files should be changed in order to start Themler and update it if you already updated Joomla.
As an alternative, you can try the solution provided above but we do not recommend editing joomla core files as it may cause problems inside Joomla unless it is approved by Joomla.
Those who have not yet installed the updated Joomla will just need to update Themler first.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Sincerely,
Olivia
