Hello there,
Ive implemented this background video in my home page, so far so good.
However seems like my configuration is not working, I need to,
- Hide the play bar below the video
- Loop inifinetly
- Ive stretched the video, as you can see, but theres a gap at the left

By the other hand, not sure if it concerns, my video is webm format, it doesnt play on Safari, it asks for download
attached is a screenshot

Thanks in advance per your advice,

Martin

Hi,

Themler Video control is for Youtube and Vimeo videos. That's why the control's options do not affect the video you're using. It is inserted as it is. You need to remove everything you want to remove and enable Loop in the original video.

You specified 1600px max width for video control . Therefore on the larger screens you will see the gaps. But even if you remove it please note that the video you're using provides own settings. Themler can control the wrapper parameters in this case only.
Themler video control generates responsive iframe wrapper for the video file. With the same result you can use HTML control where you can insert any custom HTML which will work the same.

Thank you,
Olivia

Hi,
There are "host" of reasons people want to use video that is "NOT" uploaded to YouTube. I have customers who simply don't want all the things associated with YouTube in their business videos.

There must be an answer within Themler to provide the auto play and loop controls.

Are you suggesting to edit the Themler files through Joomla in order to address the lack of control?

Thanks.

I have another point.
Themler is supposed to be responsive with videos, but only as far as the wrapper.

Yet, when I have a YouTube video inserted, the Themler wrapper only works for Portrait.
When you turn a device Landscape, there is a large space under the video.

Any thoughts?

I completely agree with the previous speaker. I do not want to use neither youtube nor vimeo. My clients want to keep theirs on their own servers. Why did you change the old good version for which you will not want to use in a moment?
