I know it is a recent, I think, cute, way to do video tutorials not to have any voice over at all. May I suggest that you have lost sight of the reason for having tutorials:
They are to make it FAST and EASY and QUICK to understand how to use the program. You want to reduce to near zero the learning-curve as much as you can. And no one can do that better than you. That earns loyalty because I can quickly use your program to earn money with and I respect your efforts to help me do that.
They are not sales tools nor PR tools nor marketing tools. (Well, good tutorials do help to sell the product!!!) Remember, we are viewing the tutorials because we do NOT already know how to use the program. I would think it best practice to use ALL tools/techniques to enhance the teaching/learning experience. Why leave voice out?????
Voice Over in conjunction with screen action focuses one right on the task at hand. Otherwise, if you assume that the person viewing the tutorial is NOT already acquainted with how to use the program then by NOT having a voice over telling us what is going on detracts substantially from the goal of FAST, EASY, QUICK to learn.
In viewing the soundless tutorials the mouse wanders all over the screen and the yellow ball around the mouse lights up now and then and I don't know why nor if a recent mouse movement is related to what I think you are showing or not.
I have been using Artisteer's products for many years and the one thing they have always lacked is focused tutorials. They really matter. YouTube contributors are so-so and often use old versions, or really don't get it.
It looks like you are using Camstasia Studio for the tutorial development. Adding voice over to the existing tutorials is a piece of cake - easy to do and takes a few minutes and ADDS huge value to the tutorial.
AND, you need to tell me WHY I want the WooCommerce extended version. I use WooC a lot and you could tell me what the extended version does that the Personal version does not... specifically... show and TELL me.
You are looking for an UPSALE and UPSALES rest on the foundation of understanding you create in your tutorials WITH VOICE OVER.
GREAT software but great software needs GREAT tutorials. No voice-over and no enthusiasm, no caring, no excitement. <----- That matters a lot. And this guy really, really cares about his products and how you can use them He has 50+ tutorials (most behind the member login) and they get you off and running with the program's features very quickly.
