Hi All,

I installed the desktop version of Themler. At setup it says that it should work with Firefox an Chrome, however, when I double click the Themler icon it says it's missing the folder "AppData/Local/Themler/ChromeData".

So can I use Firefox to create / edit themes or do I have to have Chrome installed to do so? (and is the "works with chrome and Firefox" referring to when you use Themler on an online Wordpress website?).

And if i indeed can use Firefox with the desktop version, can you please explain how to get it working?
Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

JGA

Hi,

Actually it should also work with FF, but we recommend to use Chrome as Themler was built on the webkit engine and it is optimized to be working with Chrome.
Try to reinstall FF and then install Themler again.

Sincerely,
Hella

Ok, here's what I ended up doing:

So apparently there were some leftovers from older versions of FF (39 and 54 I think), so I uninstalled those.
I also uninstalled Themler.
Then I used the FF setup to sort of reinstall it (so I didn't remove the latest version as it was up to date).
My bookmarks were still there, but I did have to reinstall the add-ons and reconfigure my settings again.

Finally I reinstalled Themler again, which then worked.
Bit of a hassle, but it works now.

Thanks.
