Themler v.475 Minor Update (23-Nov-2018)

Hello,
We see what you mean. In fact, though this update is considered minor, here is not only bug fixing, but - most important - support for the newest WordPress 5 version added. Indeed, there are not as many new features to be added to Themler as it was before, as Themler is already very advanced and has many of features for different purposes and of different weight, so to say. We continue to add some others, however not with such frequency as before. We also make important changes to support new CMS versions especially that differ from the previous ones considerably to make Themler themes work with them and work without issues.

It is a major bug, and should be addressed asap, or customers will start to lose seo power because of this, i have hundreds of sites on themler, and this bug is really crippling!

What is last stable version? I don't have "Get Beta Updates" option activated in my profile, but when I install v475 then I get "1 Update" balloon in editor. Can you upload here last stable blank theme of Themler for Joomla?

Hi Nettie, do you guys still offer support for Themler? I seem to be getting ignored. I have a ticket open with some issues that seem related to Themler and you guys used to respond in a day or so, now it's weeks with no response.

I know you guys are working on Nicepage, but I am getting ready to bail out on this if you refuse to even communicate with us. We all have large amounts of things at stake here. Every site I have is using Themler.

Just tested Joomla 4 Alpha 12 with Themler v487 Beta.

Results

Without editor:

Error: Class 'JRequest' not found: Class 'JRequest' not found

With editor:

Themler team, please note, that JRequest class does not exist in Joomla 4.

Will be Themler fixed for Joomla Beta 1 for other tests?

Joomla 4 is on the horizon … Alpha 12 now available and Beta 1 was expected in early November 2019.

We have all begged and pleaded with them to do something. Absolutely the WORST customer focused company on the planet. They don't even answer us any more.

The jquery is outdated, Google fonts are severely outdated, the icons are all old or outdated, the off canvas menu is half baked and not done, and the list goes on.

Abandoning us will not go unnoticed.

Here's what i sent your "Oleg dudko" after yet another nicepage update when he asked what was missing from themler (when i mailed about an update to themler).

• How about an updated themler exe with an updated joomla? The current version is 3.3.1 which is over 5 years old (dates back to June 2014!), cant use the joomla updater cause the last time I tried that it screwed up the joomla install (due to themler customisations?) and generated tons of errors, causing the need for a reinstall
• How about an update of sorts on the answers.themler.io page, last update there dates back to 23 nov 2018
• You constantly add new blocks and stuff to nicepage, but nothing ever gets added anymore to themler

The first one is particularly important. The embedded joomla version is SEVERELY OUTDATED.

v484 had the fix for WooCommerce 3.6

v487 had the fix for Joomla templates, including Virtuemart 3.6 compatibility.

This is giving no one any confidence. My take is you are telling us you will support Themler until you finish Nicepage and they pull the plug. Being honest now is the best policy. Every site I make with this program is a waste of my time if I cannot use it in the future. Just be honest so I can start learning a new system and not have to redo all these new sites later.

Yes we have a issues with Themler like outdated jquery, extremely poor performance in google page speed test, due to jquery, script.js etc (as they are render-blocking)

We have issues with Mobile Menus (for example, we can't bring off-canvas or slide menu from right side). there are issues with Google Fonts (that list has not been updated within themler's font selection menu) etc etc.

If you could've managed a month or two to fix those issues, themler user's won't have been so depressed. You guys decide on your own to abandon Themler and gave 100% to Nicepage (which is quite behind from themler at the moment).

And it's almost a year now since the version .475 (i know there is v .484, but that doesn't satisfy basic issues).
I hope your management can ask the developers to do these fixes, so we users' can have at least an updated Themler.
