Few weeks ago i downloaded Themler desktop, but was unable to make a decent layout...
Now downloaded it again and there must be an update, because the part where i was struggling is going fine now.

So that's all good.

For the questions part:
- How can i edit text inside themler desktop? Or do i have to edit text after export to wordpress?

  • When i open the default themler theme in themler desktop, the menu is way too long when you put it next to a logo. There are always two lines of menu. How can i delete pages inside themler desktop?

It is not a flaw, it is an App designed to work this way.

Man you are just amazing. I have seeen your live website. And I see problem. Most of you (that became Themler Users last 2 days) take some finished theme, you see it is modern and beautiful, and are scared to death to click around and test things.

Do practising on default theme, or some other. It wont be better staring at it whole time. As I said it takes some weeks of practising.

There are already several topics on forum here and people are voting for this feature you wanted few minutes ago.
If you did your part of work and searched forum you would know it.

Hello Karel,
we're sorry for delay in response.

1.all dynamic content which comes from the CMS (WordPress in your case): articles content, posts content, comments, menu items, etc. cannot be edited in Themler theme. This content could be changed in WP admin back end.
When theme is installed to a WP site the content of this site is output.
Themler does not support import/export content.
You may refer to following articles which should be helpful
http://answers.themler.com/articles/3626/how-to-use-wordpress-theme
http://answers.themler.com/articles/6035/migrating-wordpress-content-between-sites

2.I suppose you mean default WP theme opened in Themler Desktop version, right?
The menu length depend on number of items (8 in default project) and menu settings.
The pages cannot be deleted in the WP Themler Desktop project. When you apply this theme to real WP site the menu outputs different items specific for your site.
Here is how the menu is displayed for me in WP theme when I locate it next to headline and slogan
http://attachments.answers.billiondigital.com/780/3780/HMenu.png

The pages could be added/removed in HTML theme.

If you cannot manage with any issue in certain theme you may describe the issue and attach the theme here for review.

Regards,
Aileen

I find the best way to work with Themler is not to use the desktop version, rather run it on the the site as you are building. For example on a live (or XAMPP development) platform use a coming soon page and then start building the site. Start to populate content and pages, media etc. and build the theme around it as you go.

And to agree with Stagger-Lee the learning curve is steep and it does take many hours really start to get to know themler well, but once you do you can build really good themes.

And to further agree with stagger-lee its not drag and drop and you will have to know CSS very well. I also find that coupling it with something like SiteOrigin page builder for the content area makes it very powerful. These are some examples of site built using themler:

https://davanz.com/
http://www.suncoastangels.com.au/

So if you can stick with themler and give it a good run you will find that in terms of building a custom wordpress theme without having to really get in a code this is about as good as it gets.
