I'm trying Themler on the account of my boss for a couple of days now. I'm very surprised how good it actually is. It's a really fine tool to work with. But i am finding one thing pretty annoying.

When you fill in a value, like a width or margin of something, and i bypass the usage of the slider to choose the value by typing in a value (= much faster!) it doesn't always apply the value. Only when i hit TAB on my keyboard or click on another input field in same window or click on X Close, then it applies. This causes me lots confusing moments sometimes.
It would be better if that a bit more clear. Maybe add a button [Apply] or change text of the close button to [X Close and apply] (addionally you could add a [X Close and discard changes] as well). Or just to [Apply] and [Cancel].

Thanks for the great tool.

Hi,

I'm terribly sorry for the delay. When you insert the value by typing it is needed to indicate that typing is completed. I suggest you to simply press Enter after the value is typed and that will apply changes.
Adding some additional buttons will complicate the interface.

Sincerely,

I understand that it needs to indicate that typing ended in some way.

Just know that this is an issue. Maybe you (devteam) can improve that in the future.

Hi,

We do not consider that as the bug as pressing some key like enter in the end of typing looks quite natural. And it does not look reasonable to include some additional button only for those who type and do not use the value selector that applies changes automatically.
But in any case we'll consider your suggestions.
