When will themler make the jump to joomla 3.9? I have manually upgraded the joomla core inside of themler, but end up breaking themler as the .php files get replaced by the core install.

With the auto updating, it is not breaking themes, but not playing nice with the new 3.9 core or the requirement of PHP 7.1

Let me know when this upgrade will happen

I have nicepage, but prefer the controls of themler.

Hello Brian,

There was an issue in Joomla 3.9 and editing the theme directly from joomla, but it has been already resolved in the latets version of Themler (v475). Are you using this release?

Gotcha,

With the rollout of Joomla 4 next year and the elimination of jquery, I want to make sure that the software stays up-to-date and we don't lag behind. They are incorporating the newest bootstrap as well.

Also, do we need to be submitting new templates to the website for people to use? I have seen that there havent been a ton of uploads recently.

also, can you fix the social icons. When i drop them into the footer, all they want to do is share the link. I want to directly link to facebook, twitter, etc with a direct link

Sorry for delay in reply.

1) We are trying to keep up with latets Joomla version, but some issues need time to get fixed after they are found, thus, sometimes we may stay behind with new release though we are trying to offer temporary workarounds when it is possible

2) feel free to upload new themes, you are very welcome

3) the control Social Icons is meant for sharing only. When you need to add an icon that simply has direct link to any social network, use Icon control instead (it also has images for social icons):
