Changing Photo Caption (with permalink) Color

I put a caption to each picture in a gallery of pictures titled "adopt me!" and I put a permalink to this word. Before putting the link, the words were white. After, the words were gray/black and were not visible anymore. Is there a way I can fix this? or have the caption on each picture with the permalink but in a different way?
