Can't edit Joomla template

I have tried installing a new blank theme and can open that but when I try to load one of the other themes i just get a blank page and nothing loads.

I've modified the three files as mentioned in the fix but it won't work.
Get the message back:
Sorry, an error has occurred. Please clear your browser cache.
Also emptied the caches in three browser types.

Can you give me a hint?

Hello,

Please try this way:
1. Copy the theme from the website via FTP
2. Zip-compress it
3. Import in Themler desktop
4. Update it to the latest Themler version. You may need to update Beta update notifications in your profile for this.
5. Export the theme under a different name
6. Install the theme in your CMS.
