Wordpress different blog assignment to different categories

Hi.

I've two categories in my site:
- "Actualidades legales" as in http://castelazolegal.ypunto.mx/2a-prueba-de-actualidades/
- "Notas informativas" as in http://castelazolegal.ypunto.mx/adicion-al-codigo-civil-de-la-ciudad-de-mexico/
Each one has a Post template: ("Post Actualidades legales" and "Post Notas informativas")

As you can see the first one has grey background and no border and the second one has alight blue background and a border. In order to represente they are different.

My question is when you want to see all the posts in either categories, they look the same:
- http://castelazolegal.ypunto.mx/category/actualidadeslegales/
- http://castelazolegal.ypunto.mx/category/notasinformativas/

I'd like to know if I can assign the same post template to these. I can select what Post template in each Post in WP, but, as there isn't a screen in WP for each category I can do the same.

I hope my question is clear.

Hello Aurelio,

For the posts in a category Blog template is used by default, so it is the same for all categories. To create a different template for a specific category, consider using a custom template of Custom type as described in this article in the section "Category templates":

I also like that as a student, it becomes very convenient to assign different blog posts to different categories using WordPress.
