Hi All,
Some of our customers rightly complain about our tutorials and believe it or not, we suck at teaching the best usage of Themler because developing tools is much different from using them. Users who use products like Artisteer and Themler utilize them much better than we do, because their job is NOT to use the product, but to achieve their goal. If they don't have Themler then they may use Notepad to achieve the same goal, but they know their goal and that's all they care about.
Themler is a just a tool, like a paintbrush, and in the right hands it can be used to achieve amazing results. While paintbrush manufacturers don't really know how painters use their paintbrushes...
And for example some great designers can be more skilled than us at creating amazing designs, while simply taking advantage of tools like Themler to achieve their goals. They also come up with tricks and solutions we may not think of.
Look at filmmakers who started putting video cameras on drones, dollies, levers and cars, extending their lenses and adding filters - all to address their needs and not allow the camera to limit them. While the camera instructions and video tutorials simply say "please hold the camera steady and press the Record button". Do you really think that camera manufacturers like Canon make the best films...? Nope, only great filmmakers make great films. Camera manufacturers actually hire those filmmakers to demonstrate how they'd use the camera. And then the camera manufacturers learn what else a good filmmaker may need that the camera doesn't support yet.
Therefore we are also interested in hiring some of our users/customers to produce videos and tutorials for us and for the rest of you, on how to get the most out of Themler. And most of our customers use Themler to make money, therefore let's help some of you make money. If you created great themes with Themler, please send an email to us at proposals@themler.com with your portfolio and what you could do for us and our user community, especially in terms of producing tutorials and videos. We'd be especially interested in quotes per-article, per-tutorial and per-video, with specific topics and theme designs that you could teach.
Thank you
