I wish we could customize the menu and other header items when sticky like I see on many modern templates these days.

We can customize the background colour, but that's about it it seems?

As well as looking quite cool when the menu changes in sticky mode it is quite useful to be able to make the menu and the logo a little smaller. While it is nice for the menu to be present while scrolling it is often desirable to have a smaller version to make more use of the screen. It is really nice when it transitions between the two sizes also.

I am sure you know what I mean, but please see the example below just in case (note how it changes as you begin to scroll down the page.

Example 1
In this example, the colour of the menu items change
http://grainandmortar.com

Example 2
In this example the menu color changes AND the logo changes also
http://demo.themewagon.com/preview/free-html5-hotel-website-template-redplanet

It doesn't have to be too fancy, would be great if I could just shrink the logo a little and change the colour of the menu items.

The ides is the same as described in this article:

This can be applied to different controls and containers.

Hi Nettie,

Thanks for this. I did give it a try, but was not working for me. It was a bit confusing as the example uses the old Themler interface. Do you have a more current example I could follow?
