I am having the same issue whereby the second line of text lines up under the bullet and not the text above.

I have set the margin to "0" and it has no effect.

Your second link in this post 4688 is a dead link "Page Not Found"

I've just checked and the second link is working.

Please try to open it once more and follow the suggestion provided there. If you cannot make it working please create a new private topic and provide access to your cCMS admin back end and note the page which demonstrates the issue.

I am getting 'Page Not Found' as well on the second link.

I still have not been able to get hanging indents working - see http://signjobs.london/a-career-in-the-sign-industry/.

What I want it to look like is this (i.e. hanging index is working in bullets on this forum)...

• If I keep on typing it should wrap around so that the second line text starts directly below the point where the first line text starts and not below the bullet so it is working properly here even though it doesn't show properly in the post editor.

I have attached a clip from a Word document to show exactly how I want it (and how it works on Artisteer and others).

How do we make this work properly?

The other way is to edit the CSS code in style.css file

.bd-bulletlist li, .bd-tagstyles:not(.bd-custom-bulletlist):not(.shape-only) ul li {
...
    text-indent: -10px;
    margin-left: 10px;
}

Please note that the last option is not applicable if you will edit the theme in Themler in future.

In my opinion the unit px is not good because if the font size will be change the indent seems wrong. I get the best results with a value of 1 and the unit em.

And NEVER do it in the generated css file. Do it as described here: http://answers.themler.com/articles/21538/bullet-list-layout (with 1em instead 10px)

I tried this yesterday and it worked fine although I had to put back the padding (removal recommended in another referenced post).

NFV's comment about using em instead of px is great advice - thanks!

My only comment is that it ought to come out of the box like this as that is how most people want ul mult-line li's to look like.
