Working with a Themler theme. I added a widget area but I can't rename them. But I could a few minutes ago. The names are now default to 'area-#'

Hello

Unfortunately your issue is not quite clear.
Describe step by step what exactly you are doing.
Did you copy and them re-name widget area or simply rename without copying?

Thank you,
Olivia

I tried to make a new widget area and when I wanted to rename it that would not work. So the name was area-4 and I wanted to change that. I thought it would be helpfull to report that bug. And as I mentioned in my previous post it did work before that. But then I was renaming a widget that was already in the Themler theme.

To be clear I tried to make an extra widget area in addition to the standard widgets. I can't remember in what theme it was.

Hi,

I've tested the re-naming of widget areas and it works as it should on my side. The only one issue we're aware about is the issue with re-naming of the copied widget area. If you copy&paste existing widget area and then rename it will not appear in WP Widgets.

Does the issue happen with the new default theme on your side?
Could you please provide us with step-by-step instruction on how to reproduce the issue?

Thank you,.
Olivia
