Is there anyway to edit the backward links to reflect being designed by myself and not the default backward links?

Hi,

There is no option to edit the backward links now, but I'll add this option in our wish list. For now you can delete the existing control and add the row with the Text control to include your own text.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hi Perez,

I can't provide you with any ETA for now.
It's not a high-priority future so it may take a while to implement it.

Thanks,
Ivan

Silly not to have this area editable. Think it should be a high priority to make it easier for designers, the one that keep you in business:) The whole program is very slow to use and respond, making it user friendly might save it.

Hi,

We do not see much point in allowing to edit Backward Links content because you can add Text control with ANY text and links instead. By it's design the Backward Links control is the same as Text. So there is no difference.

Thank you,
Olivia

Hello,

I do not see the point you can edit the bacllink, the only exception would be, once with my edit information, you can save it and use it as another template. And, writing my text, I think it is possible to use the new "section" function to save his own relationship and use it elsewhere.

Thank you

Is Themler trying to get sites linking back to themler in an effort to save costs on marketing?

Hi,

That is normal practice that such links are added in the default template created by our designers. In any case it is very easy to remove that control with links and you can do it without any restrictions.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hi Hella

I personally don't have an issue withe having the backlinks if one wants them there, but to say it's "easy" to remove I don't believe this is the case. It's very difficult and you have to go into the hard coding to do this, am I wrong?

Regards
John

Hi,

You can remove the Backward Links control from within the editor just by pressing Del button while the control is highlighted.

I selected the backward link panel in the editor, clicked delete, clicked publish and it's still there on my live site (Drupal 7) even after clearing caches. Now in the editor it still shows but can no longer be selected and its no longer showing as an element or in the outline. It appears to now be baked in and untouchable. Please advise how I can remove it.

Hi,

If you have updated to the current beta version, then the Backward links can not be deleted as the control, but you can switch them off under the Home >> Settings >> Description.

Sincerely,
Hella

I have the latest version of Themeler. I can't find a Home >> Settings >> Description option/control, where should it be or what should be selected to show that option (I do have Home >> Settings)? I also tried clicking off the display icons for the backward links section, but still no effect.

Please direct me to the setting you mention above.

Where is the Del button? There is no X near the control title like other controls, and I don't see a Del button on any tool bar or context menu. Please tell me where the Del button is to delete the backward link control. The Delete key doesn't do it either. Thanks.

year after year, and you STILL cannot remove this annoying "feature"? Why are you circumventing such a SIMPLE task? Confidence in this software deteriorates day by day!
