Is it the end of Themler?

I have the impression that Themler is going to bankruptcy. It looks like developers are absent from the forum. We wait for the response from the support for months, as if Themler dismissed the people responsible for the support. Once, after asking a question, I had a response within 1-2 days, now it happens that there is no answer at all. I asked a question in private topic 3 months ago and no one has answered to this day.

I pay for the most expensive version and feel a bit cheated due to ignoring my support questions. Because, as I understand it, support also comes with the subscription price

I'm starting to seriously wonder if I should not resign from Themler before it goes bankrupt and do not turn to, for example, [...].

P.S.
I found something. It looks like Themler is no longer being developed and is being replaced by Nicepage. It promises to be interesting but why, since I paid for Themler in March, should I now buy a new product? And it will be difficult for me to trust a company that deals with its clients. In my opinion, if Themler finishes software development, it should be visible on the site. And I think that since Themler is no longer being developed, customers who have active licenses for Themler should get free Nicepage licenses valid until the end of Themler subscription. But it's still a bit cheat if I knew that Themler would not be further developed - I would not prolong the license.

Themler and Nicepage is completely different softwares.

  1. Themler is professional tool, but not developed anymore
  2. Nicepage is simple page builder, there is active development

Actually, is there a reason to start using Nicepage if it will be stopped as Themler? And Nicepage is very very light software with big limits, not for big projects... for HTML Landings maybe. Its not support multilanguage websites. There you can't to style menu and you face many other restrictions etc.

Nicepage never be powerful - developers say this... as Nicepage must be as simple as possible for users who don't want to learn how software works. That is Nicepage philosophy. Maybe this good for some users but defenetly not for Themler users.

I think that many of users gone to Gridbox, SP Page Builder (for Joomla) and to Tilda (for HTML).

I love Themler... sad that there is such situation.

I've already noticed the limitations of Nicepage. However, the most shocking in this situation is the fact that Themler did not announce the end of development and support on its shopping websites. In March I paid EUR 100 as every year since 2015 for the extension of the subscription and nowhere was there any information about the end of development. In this situation, I feel robbed and cheated. Because now I receive a product without support and bugs fixes and I wonder what will happen if by March 2020 (then my subscription ends), will Joomla get an update that will prevent the use of Themler in the current version? This is not the case of a serious company, they charge fees for abandoned software.

It seems to me that I will dissuade everyone to buy Themler, Nicepage and any other software that this company is developing.

I agree with Vitality on this. I have not found anything like this anywhere else. SP Page Builder is not a template replacement and I have not found a template for Joomla that has the level of customization that Themler does.

It seems like each product they produce gets boring to the developer and he moves to a new one. I think they are chasing some dream of getting rich but barely market the products. Details like SEO are not addressed either.

I love Themler, now that I am used to it I am very sad it's being abandoned by the developer. At least that is the way it seems. Artisteer was very limited for none coders. This is insanely powerful. It should be one of the most used template builders but they just don't get the big picture for some reason.

I won't give up until they stop fixing my bugs or updating it. They are releasing new versions so it's not completely abandoned. Perhaps they will be back and keep it alive.

All we remember situation with Joomla 3.9, when it released - Themler stopped working with it.
All because Themler not tested Alpha and even Beta releases of CMS.
They fix it very late... when many people updated to J3.9 and could not to edit their templates.
Joomla 4 currently on Alpha 10 stage, Beta will come this summer and RC / Stable at the end of 2019.
Here is how other developers prepares to Joomla 4: JoomShaper’s plans for Joomla 4
But what about Themler? Will they support Joomla 4 on time?

I think that we can write here at will and nothing will come of it because maybe the support will not even read our posts. Maybe we should move our discussion, for example, to developer FB or similar place.

SP Page Builder is not a template replacement and I have not found a
template for Joomla that has the level of customization that Themler
does.

It's true. Only this solutions that not so flexible as Themler:
SP Page builder + Helix template framework
Balbooa Gridbox
Gantry from RocketTheme
YOOtheme Pro

But maybe someone have positive experience with some of this list? Please share. Love Themler, but all this situation give us thinks that Themler will be dropped completely... so need to be prepared to this, when come day when Themler will not work with new CMS release.

But I hope that Themler developers will be back to this project. Maybe time to start development of Themler 2.0? Fast, modern, light, intuitive and with good documentation. I think that with all of this Themler and Nicepage experience will be very great new Themler 2.0.

Gridbox is similar to Nicepage, nothing more. Themler is much more powerful.

The latest update was Themler Beta v.466 Update (01-August-2018)

There have been more updates, just not listed. I believe the current version is 484.

What worries me is that they completely stopped posting replies.

Their website is a joke, 404 pages, stuff loading with no styles. Nothing gives me confidence like a developers site that is fubar.

Where is the demo sites? I don't want to watch videos?

I downloaded and installed it. It's visually similar to Themler but it's not proffesional tool, it lacks a lot of options known from Themler

What do Drupal themes do now? Themler helped me with this, but now I have to forget about him....

done with nicepage in joomla http://split.to/CPFWsxz
al so done in joomla nicepage http://split.to/U2BeBIL

The disadvantage of nicepage is that it has far fewer options than themler (I have to add css code)
for form aspects and some other tags

The advantages it has is that
1 - with nicepage you go much, much faster.
2- it is easier to make beautiful sites
3 - high values on gtmetrix and google pagespeeed
4 - work in joomla article so it's full compatible whis PWT SEO (fantastic it's like yoast seo, pwt in my opinion it' better)
it's full compatible to plugin who have { } or short code.
5 - And also you have the clients licenses with which the customer can manage the site (like a beautifull page builder)

In my opinion nicepage for joomla is the best template solution and is the best existing page builder, i have all page builder for joomla, nice page is much bertter

if you need information I have nicepage ultimate license
and templalte toaster (it's a boostrap site maker, They don't add features long, they only care about compatibility with the new cms versions More or less like temler they are making it survive)

i suggest to switch to nicepage and learn some css code

Nicepage is the future, I recommend it even if they will have to add some things like on the typography of form elements

Я работаю с Themler долгое время, все сайты моих клиентов разработаны здесь.
Мне нравиться Themler, желаю компании успехов, а нам удовольствие от работы.

Everyone, please vote for this topic to pay developers attention to our wishes.
The main goal is to bring back developers to Themler project and increase support priority.

Many things not solved and Themler is outdated: Google fonts and Billion Web Fonts, Outdated jQuery v1.11.1 from Themler have known security vulnerabilities etc.
