I've followed directions for the Joomla 3.9 update, had everything working perfectly last night and spent hours making changes to the templates. This morning, it won't let me into the theme editor from administrator live site.

Followed all suggestions from every thread related to the article... no luck.

Is it possible to download the template and open on desktop editor... to be able to save and re-upload? Not sure how, since I don't have access to the theme editor from live site.

Yes, Joomla was updated. Followed instructions for changes in index.php, data, php, and manifest.php. Worked perfectly at first, then next morning page was blank when loading themler to edit. Copied all files from an updated sister site, worked perfectly.

I'm having this exact same problem. Had site up and running for a long time without need for changes, now when I go to try and edit the theme, I get the blank screen. All the files mentioned in the update to 3.9 have the correct code, but still get the blank screen. Unfortunately I don't have an updated sister site to copy from.

HELP!!!

Hello,

Please try to copy the theme folder via FTP, zip-compress and import it in Themler desktop. Update the theme to the latest Themler version v.496. Re-export the theme and install in on your website. Please let us know the result.

Sincerely,
Nettie
