I've created a template in new Artisteer and exported it as Themler / Joomla

I then opened Themler offline version and went to import from zip. I then got this error:

failed.JPG

I then opened the Joomla administrator (CMS Admin Panel) Went to Install new template and tried to install the zip file into the templates. Got this error:

failed2.JPG

Clearly something is wrong. I used the default template of Artisteer without ANY editing just to test. So there was no customisation.

I have the newest Artisteer and uploaded the Themler version (Themler.1.0.59.39d2b) which is according to me the newest version. I can't verify this as I don't see a place in Themler where I can check the version.

Hi Peter,

Could you please create the separate topic and provide your .artx and the exported .zip file.
Make sure that you are using the latest Artisteer version provided in the link from the initial topic.

Hi,

For everyone having the same issue, please try to export the template using the Include Content option in Artisteer. Seems that the issue exists only with the templates that were exported without the content.
Our developers will look into this issue.

Can you give even clearer instructions on how to open the Joomla project in the desktop version of themler?

Or is this not possible?

Not sure what's going on. I realized I needed to install it in my local Joomla site as a zip. Then it was in my Themeler Desktop version list of themes.

When I opened it though it looked pretty much like the default untitled version so really not sure what happened there.

Do I need to import it from zip or something. Very confusing.

Hi Dave,

  1. Export theme:

    joomla-export2.png

  2. Import theme:

    joomla-import.png

You may see the default theme while opening Artisteer joomla theme. But you will see the proper theme after Themler finishes.

Thank you,
Olivia

Hello Reinhard,

For everyone having the same issue, please try to export the template
using the Include Content option in Artisteer. Seems that the issue
exists only with the templates that were exported without the content.

I confirm that there's a problem on our end with Joomla templates. Now they should be exported with content from Artisteer. The fix for this issue will be included into the next Themler update.

If you exported Artisteer template with content and the error persists please create a new private topic http://answers.billiondigital.com/Topic/Create?private=1 and attach the .artx file and zipped exported theme.

Regards,
Aileen

This import only works for pro version or works for every one?
I had a standart version and in ARTISTEER(4.3.0.60858) show up export for themler in themler(v349) not show up how to import the theme.

Hi,

To import the theme exported from Artisteer use the File >> Import from .zip option in Themler.
You will be able to import themes that are available in your subscription. So if you have Personal subscription, you can import HTML and WP themes.

Sincerely,
Hella

I experimented by using Artisteer's default template without making any changes. Thus, there was no personalization.
