Hello,
i have a problem with Kunena and Themler.

The Kunena menu dos not appear and if i go on a user profile, i have this message :

Notice: Undefined variable: menutype in /home/clients/xxxxxxxx/formation.energie-sante/templates/untitled/html/mod_menu/default_component.php on line 54

Rendering Error in layout Widget/Menu: Call to undefined function funcTagBuilder() in /home/clients/xxxxxxx/formation.energie-sante/components/com_kunena/template/nts_ksamurai/layouts/widget/menu/default.php on line 121
Layout was rendered in /home/clients/xxxx/formation.energie-sante/libraries/kunena/layout/base.php on line 167

I have try with the developers of the NTS Ksamurai theme and with the protostar template all is fine, so it is a Themler bug.

Thanks to help

Hello,

I haven't made any changes. I just commented the file with dashes to disable it in the html (override) of the template.

For example : -default_component.php-

Frederic, I'm having a similar issue. Could you explain what steps you took? I'm not quite understanding what you did.

Hello,
like in my first post, you have to search in : /home/clients/xxxxxxxx/formation.energie-sante/templates/untitled/html/mod_menu/default_component.php

Of course, you dont have the same title in your host... You have to go with ftp in your hosting, and search for your template => html => mod_menu

And here, you comment the "default_component.php", like "-default_component.php-"

Thats it.

I thing Themler have a override of this menu that broke the Kunena menu.

Thank you Frederic,
Just in case someone else needs it. May I reword your solution a little?

If you rename the file /templates/your_template/html/mod_menu/default_component.php to anything else such as default_component.old this will take care of that error and amazingly doesn't seem to break anything else.

Yes, you can rename the file as you want.
