Error 403 on save and no permissions to write (IIS 10)

I am working through the Themler tutorial (Wordpress plugin) inside IIS 10 running from Windows Server 2016, accessed through Remote Desktop. I gave full write access permission to the wp-content folder and all its subfolders.

After issues with Wordpress 5.3.2, which could not run Themler I installed Wordpress 5.2 and it works.

After the point in the tutorial where we insert, copy and swap icons I could not save any more the project. I started receiving HTTP error 403 with explanation -1.

I decided to close the browser and when reopened in an earlier point of the project I decided to rename the project and received the error in the attachment.

Complete error:
"A non well formed numeric value encountered" in C:\inetpub\vgptthemler\wp-content\themes\Untitled\export\editorHelper.php on line 406
"rename(C:\inetpub\vgptthemler/wp-content/themes/Untitled_preview,C:\inetpub\vgptthemler/wp-content/themes/tutor1_preview): Access is denied. (code: 5)" in C:\inetpub\vgptthemler\wp-content\themes\Untitled\export\filesHelper.php on line 132

I hope this helps.

Hi there,

I can save to the Untitled directory but I still can not rename the project. It produces the same error.
I also have problems with rendering/copying and pasting icons both on the Wordpress plugin and on the desktop. See image.
Also, every time I start working there is always an "update" (see image).

Regards,

Jose Pascoa

Hi,
I updated to what Themler v499.
The exact same problem mentioned in the last message are there. I can't rename the project and also icons don't appear.

I hope you can fix this, otherwise it will be unfeasible to use for any production project. This is a pity because the tools are very advanced.

Jose Pascoa

Hello Jose,
Does it allow you to save or export the theme?
If maybe you have it saved already, then please attach it here.

I wasn't able to open this theme as a Wordpress theme though in Themler.
If renaming isn't working, try Save As under a different name. Or export the theme, rename the exported file and open it again with Themler to continue editing it as a new theme.

I don't see any option to Save As.
I see an option to Make a Copy As, which produced the attached error.

I think you have no clue whatsoever, so I will not bother anymore.
